The Town of Caraquet's public works team offers many different services: snow removal, construction and maintenance of waterworks and sanitary systems, maintenance of fire hydrants, mechanical testing of equipment, road sweeping, maintenance of storm drains, and cleaning of green spaces.

If the waste collection day lands on Christmas or New Year’s day, it will be done the preceding day.

Engineering

The engineering department is responsible for new constructions, lineage and lighting of the streets, surveying and mapping, infrastructure planning, waste collection, buildings, inspection, paving, heating, electricity, sidewalks and industrial park.
